Brangian Progressive Yarn Usage

The progressive yarn usage charts may be of assistance if you are unsure if you will have enough yarn. Weigh your yarn before you begin, and weigh the remaining yarn at the end of each section/chart.

There is a chart each for the original stockinette version, and for the All-Lace version (they differ slightly in row counts and therefore sizes). The charts are available as .pdf files, with a space for writing in your yarn usage. Click on the link to download the relevant file:

  1. I’ve just cast on for this shawl this evening after reading about it at Bellsknits. Thanks for the clear charts and this table too. I’ve done quite a few shawls since I started them last year and I have found this not only pretty but very well set out. I appreciate this chart as I’m planning on probably doing chart 1 three times as i saw on Rav KAL and then the edging.
